Google Street View Abdeckung verzehnfacht / Mapillary

Hallo zusammen Vielleicht interessiert das den einen oder andern Mapper: Anscheinend wurde heute der öffentlich verfügbare Foto-Bestand von Google Street View auf einen Schlag verzehnfacht: http://www.20min.ch/digital/news/story/Google-hat-die-Schweiz-jetzt-fast-lu… In meiner Region sind nun auch viele kleine Strassen erfasst. Soweit ich weiss, ist es rechtlich nicht so klar, ob man von Google's Street View Bildern abzeichnen darf. Als Alternative bietet sich http://www.mapillary.com an: Es wird eine ähnliche Dienstleistung angeboten, die Bilder sind jedoch mittels Crowdsourcing erfasst, d.h. jeder kann Bilder hochladen (entweder per Mapillary-App oder per Foto-/Video-Upload Funktion). Das Ableiten von Inhalten für OpenStreetMap ist explizit erlaubt: https://www.mapillary.com/osm.html Betrieben wird der Dienst von einem Startup in Schweden. Für den Zugriff auf die Bilder gibt es eine Schnittstelle: http://www.mapillary.com/developer.html Zudem ist eine Integration in JOSM geplant: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2015/AcceptedProj… Ich sehe in Mapillary eine grosse Chance für OpenStreetMap, deshalb wollte ich das mal erwähnt haben. "Lac Léman" label way outside of the lake

Hi, Does anybody know why the "Lac Léman" label now appears way outside of the lake, as you can see on this map: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=46.6311&mlon=6.7236#map=11/46.6311/6.7236 >From my understanding, the label comes from the multipolygon corresponding to the lake (relation 332617 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/332617>), but I can't see anything wrong with it. And the label for "Lac de Neuchâtel" also seems oddly located, although it's at least in the lake, see this map: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=46.9521&mlon=6.9598#map=10/46.9521/6.9598 Any idea? link shortener osm.li got lost

I just realized that, unforgivably, I have forgotten to move the link shortener osm.li (used by routing.osm.ch) to our new server. At the moment I fear that I have permanently lost all previously shortened links, as our old server got turned off on Friday. I apologize for causing any inconvenience. We will try to get the link shortener back up again soon. Michael
