Natursteinplatten Mappen
by Raphael Bircher 30 Sep '26

30 Sep '26

Was meint Ihr? Gruss und schönen Abend Raphael

18. Mapathon & Mapping Party Rapperswil, Fr. 24. April 2026, 14:15-21:00
by Stefan Keller 23 Apr '26

23 Apr '26

--Stefan P.S.

Haltestellen bzw. Haltebalken nur einmal beschriften
by Schmid Michael (SRZ) 24 Feb '26

24 Feb '26

Mapillary Celebration in Zürich
by Christopher Beddow 22 Feb '26

22 Feb '26

Hoi säme, Everyone is welcome to join us this coming Thursday at the Meta office in Zürich, where the Mapillary team is celebrating 3 billion user contributed images with demos, apero, and snacks. I am not certain what the food options are so would consider coming hungry, hopefully not having to eat more after (my own plan), or if you find it risky don't follow this advice! The event is from 17:30-19:30 at the typical location if you have joined for GeoMob/Zürich Maps & Geo Meetup--just next to Sihlcity Bahnhof, Meta office ground floor where there is also a Samsung office and store. RSVP: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mapillary-celebrating-3-billion-images-ticke… I hope to see some of you there! Best regards, Christopher Beddow

Playgrounds on private property
by Christopher Beddow 19 Feb '26

19 Feb '26

Hoi säme! I recently put together a website: https://playmap.ch I made this for my own needs to start, with two young kids and looking for nearby playgrounds. Makes it just slightly easier than with Organic Maps. Some feedback I got is that many of the playgrounds I pulled into the map are on private property. This is after I already filtered out anything with access=private. I was thinking I could overlay my data on property parcels to remove any on private parcels but I am sure that some number of somewhat public playgrounds may be lost there anyway: does anyone have an opinion on that? Otherwise I was thinking putting the results of this overlay onto MapRoulette might be a nice community project to add access tags, but it can be difficult also without local knowledge. If anyone has interest or thoughts, I appreciate to hear from you. Freundliche Grüsse Christopher Beddow Goldau SZ
