MapRoulette-Challenge zum PotM März
by Marcel Ottiger 27 Mar '23

Large changeset creating duplicated buildings around Châtel-Saint-Denis
by Lukas Toggenburger 26 Mar '23

26 Mar '23

Hi all I noticed this large changeset ( https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/71075752 ) from 3 years ago around Châtel-Saint-Denis that introduced duplicated buildings. Is someone interested in having a closer look and trying to revert/repair things? I already left a changeset comment. Best regards Lukas

Fwd: Large changeset creating duplicated buildings around Châtel-Saint-Denis
by Raphael 26 Mar '23

Good morning everyone I've just remarked that i missed to send the following message (problematical edits of user mousse) to the mailing list. Have a nice Sunday! Raphael ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Raphael <dafadllyn(a)gmail.com> Date: Sat, 11 Mar 2023 at 21:16 Subject: Re: [talk-ch] Large changeset creating duplicated buildings around Châtel-Saint-Denis To: Lukas Toggenburger <ltoggenburger(a)swissonline.ch> Hi Lukas, hi all I've now also finished looking at all 328 edits of user mousse (the edits of user unare-314 are yet to be checked). The following of mousse's edits are problematical because they are large imports without indication of the source (which is very likely incompatible): - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15633517 - import of thousands of buildings (using keys ADRESSE=*, DESCRIP=*, GENRE=*, INDIC=*, INDICRUE=*, NUMASS=*) of which he added missing building=* and other tags in later changesets (mainly in 15641998 and 15642244, but also in 15636751, 15636802, 15636870, 15637026, 15637247, 15637487, 15637672, 15637747, 15637841, 15638984, 15639014, 15639057, 15639123, 15639149, 15639186, 15640117, 15640692, 15640770, 15640791, 215895819, 15640825, 15640848, 15640861, 15641621, 15641665, 15641887, 15642490, 15642531, 15655605) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15636637 - addition of dozens of nodes without tags - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15639590 - addition of dozens of stream beds (many of which he later deleted in changeset 15657009; others he modified in changesets 15654316, 15654387, 15655706, 15655777) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15640583 - addition of hundreds of place names (lieu-dits) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15654252 - addition of 17 natural reserves (later modified by himself in changeset 15654364) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15658349 - addition of 29,989 nodes without tags (it seems that they have all been deleted in the meantime) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15658464 - import of hundreds of river beds (edited by himself in changeset 15659595 and later reverted in changeset 15659697) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15658468 - addition of 25,860 nodes without tags (it seems that they have all been deleted in the meantime) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15658507 - addition of dozens of stream/river beds and thousands of nodes without tags (it seems that the nodes without tags have been deleted in the meantime) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15658881 - addition of 12,158 nodes without tags (it seems that they have all been deleted in the meantime) - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/15659004 - addition of 8,218 nodes without tags (it seems that they have all been deleted in the meantime) In addition, in the following changesets, the user added about hundreds of street names altogether; the changesets are tagged source=knowledge, but i doubt that he knows that many street names by heart: - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50802353 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50802253 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50801526 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50801340 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50801135 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50800738 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50800696 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799767 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799689 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799582 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799355 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799307 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799157 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799099 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50799033 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50798968 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50798869 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50798852 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50798819 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50798695 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50783131 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50783100 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50783079 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782951 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782937 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782923 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782904 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782879 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782780 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782762 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782715 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782688 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782652 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782630 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782547 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782504 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782450 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782444 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782406 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782400 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782300 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782221 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782190 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782108 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782055 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50782005 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50781951 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50781900 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50781840 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50781761 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50775240 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50775136 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50774968 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50774352 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50773274 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50773221 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50773182 - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/50773139 As for your question, i'm not very familiar with OSM's processes, but i think that the problematical edits don't just have to be reverted but also deleted (that is, a case for the DWG). Later, for remapping the buildings, a Project of the Month seems like a good idea. I'll be happy to help mapping missing buildings. didok.osm.ch issue tracking
by Nzara 23 Mar '23

23 Mar '23

Gruss

POIs der Stadt Uster
by Lukas Toggenburger 05 Mar '23
