Luftbilder der Stadt Uster verfügbar

Hallo zusammen, ab sofort können die Orthofotos der Stadt Uster zum Abzeichnen für OpenStreetMap benutzt werden. Es handelt sich dabei um Fotos aus dem Jahr 2008, aber schon bald sollte ein weitere Layer mit Fotos vom Mai 2012 hinzukommen. La restriction d'utilisation est "Pas de restriction". Je n'ai pas regardé si il existe d'autres données dans ce cas là. Swiss OpenStreetMap Association (founding meeting)

A number of you may remember the discussion about founding a Swiss OpenStreetMap association from last year, at the time I didn't follow up on the idea due to many other OSM related activities and due to the fact that nobody volunteered a meeting room. Since the underlying motivation for creating such an organisation haven't changed and we (as in the Swiss OSM community) will have a presence at the exhibition part of GEOsummit 2012 (www.geosummit.ch) in Berne, I propose to have a founding meeting over lunch on June the 20th in Berne. Venue to be determined, but either in a restaurant in the exhibition buildings or nearby. We have a limited number of free exhibition entrance tickets available that will be available on a first come first serve base to members of the community that want to participate in the meeting. AGIS Orthofotos für den Kanton Aargau verfügbar

Wir haben die Erlaubnis bekommen die aktuellesten Orthofotos des kantonalen Aargauer GIS Büros für OSM Zwecke zu verwenden. Die Fotos sind vom April 2011 und haben eine nominelle Auflösung von 25cm, Fehler in der Orthorektifizierung sollen sich in der gleichen Grösse bewegen. Sie decken den ganzen Kanton und kleine Bereiche der Nachbarkantone und Süddeutschland ab. Ich bin aktuell noch daran Kacheln für Zoom Stufe 19 zu generieren, die vorhanden Stufen 18-16 sind aber schon sehr hilfreich. Leider haben wir ein grosses Gebiet im Grossraum Aarau in dem sehr fleissig von Bing abgezeichnet wurde, allerding ohne irgendwelche Lagekorrekturen zu machen, gleichzeitig wurde in grossen Stil geklebt (als spezielles Schmankerl auch landuse an Gebäude). M.a.W. wir haben ein grosses Gebiet, dass einiges an Arbeit erfordern wird um Fehler zu korrigieren. Siehe http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Switzerland/AGIS für Details Simon
