Update GWR Street Name List

I've updated the underlying data of http://qa.poole.ch/ch-roads/ to the 2013-06-01 dataset from the BfS. There hasn't been much movement except for a clear negative trend that more places are not classifying the objects in the database, either not giving any type at all ("unknown" column in the table) or classifying the type as "none" (GWR definition). Very visible example of this is the municipality Bözberg which currently has no objects classified as roads (even though previous version of the data had around 40). This naturally makes the data substantially less useful. In any case I would like to again ask for everybody to participate in improving our name coverage as far as possible, while it is true that getting the last 10 to 20% right is sometimes difficult, getting to the 805 mark is typically very easy. Datensatz Lufthindernisse BAZL

Hoi zäme Seit kurzem veröffentlicht das BAZL die Lufthindernis-Datenbank alle zwei Wochen auf ihrer Website: http://map.bazl.admin.ch/ Ein super Schritt, wenn man doch bedenkt dass man vorher die Datenbank nur käuflich erwerben konnte und dass die Daten nur alle 1.5 Jahre herausgegeben wurden. Was dabei leider fehlt ist eine offene Lizenz. Ich habe das BAZL deswegen mal kontaktiert: > Guten Tag > > Erfreut habe ich festgestellt, dass Sie seit kurzem die Lufthindernis-Datenbank auf http://map.bazl.admin.ch/ publizieren, inklusive KMZ-Download. Das ist sehr löblich, jedoch schränkt das bestehende Copyright sehr viele Nutzungsmöglichkeiten ein bzw verhindert sie komplett (zB Nutzung durch Smartphone-Apps, einbindung in offene Karten wie OpenStreetMap, Integration durch Variometer-Anbieter uvm). > > Gibt es bereits Diskussionen dazu, den Datensatz unter eine Open Data Lizenz zu stellen? Hello,I do a bachelor in forestery in a high school (HAFL Zollikofen). For my bachelor thesis, I would like develop a navigation system for the trucks in the forest (wood transport) with OpenStreetMap.But for the mapping, one tag is noexistent. I need to indicate the turning radius, it's very important to now when we can go in the bends with the trucks.What do you think about "turning_radius=** (in meter)" ?Thanks you and best regards,Damien Jordan

Hoi zäme, the WMS proxy http://mapproxy.sosm.ch:8080/tiles/zh_stadtplan/EPSG900913/%7Bzoom%7D/%7Bx%… seems to be misconfigured. Currently I get the following error message: ---8<--- Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Salut! Stefan hat uns erlaubt das inoffizielle Nachtessen vor der FOSSGIS als Stammtisch zu besetzen. Das wollen wir gerne nutzen und Treffen uns dieses mal am Dienstag 11. Juni in Rapperswil. aktueller Ktipp 11/2013 testet Offlinemaps auf Smartphones

Im deutschen Forum [1] habe ich 3 Bilder eines Tests vom Ktipp veröffentlicht. Der Ktipp hat verschiedene Apps für Offline-Navigation auf Smartphones getestet und sie verweisen darauf, dass das Kartenmaterial meist von OSM stammt.
