Mir ist aufgefallen, dass die Problematik mit den falschen
addr:suburb=*-Tags in Bern noch nicht erledigt ist. [^1] Zur
Erinnerung: addr:suburb=* sollte nur verwendet werden, wenn die Post
sie benötigt, um ansonsten identische Adressen in einer Stadt zu
unterscheiden. [^2] Dies ist in Bern nicht der Fall – die in den
addr:suburb=*-Tags erfassten Quartiersnamen gehören nicht zur
postalischen Adresse.
Die addr:suburb=*-Tags wurden hier fälschlicherweise verwendet, um
darüber Auskunft zu geben, in welchem Quartier sich eine Adresse, Haus
oder POI befindet. Wie in einem älteren E-Mail bereits erwähnt ist
dies meines Erachtens überflüssig, da die Information zum Quartier
bereits effizienter in den boundary-Relations enthalten ist.
Eigentlich wollte ich deshalb nun vorschlagen, addr:suburb=* in
is_in:quarter=* umzuwandeln. Nun habe ich aber festgestellt, dass z.
B. im Quartier Muesmatt von insgesamt 504 addr:suburb=* nur 43 den
Namen des Quartiers Muesmatt enthalten, die anderen 470 jedoch den
Namen des benachbarten Quartiers Länggasse. [^3] Aufgrund dieser hohen
Zahl an Fehlern schlage ich nun vor, die insgesamt 4'608 addr:suburb=*
in Bern zu löschen.
Übrigens habe ich die Adressen, die sich innerhalb der Gemeinde Bern
befinden, aber deren postalischer Ort nicht Bern ist (sondern z. B.
Wabern [^5] oder Worblaufen [^6]) bereits bereinigt.

La relation N°402762 (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/402762) est
taguée comme:
type=network
network=train
Elle contient de nombreuses lignes de train en Suisse romande, donc la
plupart sont des lignes privées n'appartenant *PAS au CFF*. Par exmple,
le BAM, le MOB, les TPF, le funiculaire du Mont-Pélerin, etc, etc...
À l'inverse, la majorité du réseau CFF situé en Suisse alémanique n'est
pas incluse dans cette relation.
Quelle est donc cette relation, et est-elle vraiment utile ? Faut-il
changer son nom, ou alors enlever les lignes n'appartenant pas aux CFF ?

Gibt es eigentlich eine Karte, welche nach objektiven Kriterien aufzeigt, in welchen Regionen OSM-Daten nicht (mehr) gut gepflegt werden, z.B. basierend auf dem durchschnittlichen Alter von Nodes und Ways?

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich für Stefan untersucht, wie sich statische
gehostete online-Tile-Sammlungen (z.B. gemäss dem von Google Maps und
OpenStreetMap bekannten ZXY-Schema) als OGC-WMTS nutzen lassen.
Dazu muss man "nur" eine (ebenfalls statische) ServiceMetadata-XML-Datei
|WMTSCapabilities.xml| dazu anbieten, die die Kacheln beschreibt.
Stefan hat erwähnt, dass du zur Zeit etwas ähnliches oder das selbe
versuchst, und hat mich gebeten, dir mitzuteilen, wie es funktioniere.
Meine Erkenntnisse und die notwendigen Berechnungen habe ich unter

https://giswiki.hsr.ch/WMTS#XYZ_.E2.86.92_WMTS dokumentiert.
Wie das im Zusammenspiel mit verschiedenen Koordinaten-Systemen
funktioniert, sieht man vermutlich am besten an meinem fertigen und
funktionierenden Beispiel für 3 der osm.ch-Tile-Layer (Standard-Stil mit
je unterschiedlichem CRS):
