I don't know if this interests anybody here, but there are two events in Lausanne and Zurich City called "make.opendata.ch" where "a community of designers, coders, communicators and activists help Switzerland move towards a more ‘direct data democracy’ for participation, transparency and accountability from the grassroots."... (citation from makeopendata.ch). It's related to the Swiss Open-Data-Initiative opendata.ch of the Swiss Open Systems User Group (/ch/open) and the Schweizer Informatik Gesellschaft / Société Suisse d'Informatique (SI).
