Bonsoir, J'ai continué l'amélioration des tags sur les bornes d'incendie. Les améliorations suivantes nécessite une "modification mécanique" : - fire_hydrant:brand=ewb si mon analyse est correcte, ewb n'est pas une marque mais l'abréviation du nom de l'opérateur Energie Wasser Bern. Je souhaite donc corriger en operator="Energie Wasser Bern" - ref dans le tag name un faux nom "Hydrant xxx" est inventé pour de nombreuses bornes, oü xxx est le numéro de référence repris dans le tag ref. J'ai migré manuellement les quelques cas oü il n'existait pas de ref. j'ai aussi ajouté 2 tag fixme lorsque le numéro était différent. Il reste 200+ tag oü le numéro est identique, je souhaite supprimer ce faux nom pour garder la référence. - flow_capacity dans le tag name Je souhaite migrer l'information dans le tag fire_hydrant:flow_capacity N'hésitez pas à me donner votre avis. Si vous connaissez un outil qui gérerait mal ces infos, signalez le, ce serra l'occasion de leur proposer une amélioration. Cordialement, Marc

Hydranten mit Namen, Referenz und fire_hydrant:ref=*

Tschou zäme. Als ich mich vor zwei Jahren auf langen Spaziergängen mit schlafendem Kind viel mit Hydranten beschäftigt habe, wusste ich nicht, dass POI+ (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/POI%2B ) diese 'falsch' erfasst. Weil mich das letzthin mal wieder gestört hat, wollte ich die redundanten Daten, die ich erfasst habe mal aufräumen. Ich weiss nicht, ob alle Edits von mir sind, aber - hier sind alle Hydranten mit einem Namen ohne Referenz: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/rmd und - hier sind alle Hydranten mit einem Namen und Referenz: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/rmi Das sind mir dann doch einige Edits zuviel, um diese händisch zu korrigieren. Wie gehe ich am besten vor, um das mit möglichst wenig Aufwand zu korrigieren? Gruss, Habi PS: Europaweit gibt es einige Hydranten mit `fire_hydrant:ref` UND `ref`, der allergrösste Teil davon in Bern, ganz wenige in Hamburg ein paar in Berlin und einen in Östereich: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/rmm Wäre das nicht auch ein Kandidat für eine automatische Korrektur?

Hello I would like to ask if somebody already has or had contact with the "Schweizerischen Alpwirtschaftlichen Verband" (http://www.alpwirtschaft.ch/) or with one of it's subsidies (e.g. Société fribourgeoise d’économie alpestre, http://www.alpagesetchalets.ch/). I assume, that the parent organization and also the different cantonal sections have a list of their members (alps, farms) with names and perhaps even coordinates. At least this can be concluded if you have a look at http://www.alpagesetchalets.ch/de/wo-findet-man-sie/ and http://www.alpagesetchalets.ch/fileadmin/user_upload/PDF/Liste_des_ chalets_d_alpage_fribourgeois.pdf If it is possible to get the names, and - even better - the coordinates of all these alps, this could be of great value for OSM. AGIS 2017 Orthofotos

Die diesjährigen AGIS Orthofotos für den Kanton Aargau sind jetzt anscheinend vorhanden. Der zeitliche Abstand zu denen von 2016 ist klein, ein Bezug könnte aber doch sinnvoll sein, da durch den 2 Jahresrhythmus in denen wir sie bezogen haben, wir jetzt immer Bilder von Befliegungen im Sommer bekommen haben. Im Gegensatz dazu sind die Bilder von diesem Jahr Ende März entstanden und zeigen Waldwege etc natürlich sehr gut. Die Bilder sieht man auch auf dem AGIS Kartenportal https://www.ag.ch/app/agisviewer4/v1/agisviewer.html Meinungen dazu? Simon PS: kleine Ausschnitte kann man auch direkt kostenlos bestellen, finde ich selber aber eher unpraktisch.

Hi everyone, it seems there is a misunderstanding: I've only removed separate footways besides streets that were already tagged with sidewalk=* (or added a sidewalk=* key to the road and removed the sidewalk where I noticed a problem), following the recommendations on the wiki. I've not deleted a single sidewalk information. (The same is true for the terrace of the restaurant: I've removed the wrong biergarten - according to the wiki, a biergarten is 'an open-air area where beer is served and you are allowed to bring your own food' - and added outdoor_seating=yes to the restaurant. Furthermore, because it is the same restaurant, 'One feature, one OSM element' applies here.) @Andreas Bürki: Next time, please check the facts before accusing someone of 'doing some nasty work'. (I'll take 'Mr cleaner' as a compliment for doing clean-up work. :-)) As for the discussion sidewalk=* vs footway: I think it is most important that the mapping is done consistently - at least for a single locality - to prevent confusion for map users, and that regional decisions are well documented on the wiki to prevent misunderstandings and extra work for mappers. In my opinion, it makes sense to follow the recommendations on the wiki - i.e. 'to map the sidewalk as property on the street if the sidewalk is just attached with a kerb and not separated by a road verge or other barriers' - because of: * Routing: Separately mapped sidewalks break any straightforward routing on streets that can be crossed anywhere (especially in living areas). * GPS: GPS receivers are generally not enough precise to determine if someone is either on the street, on the left sidewalk or on the right sidewalk. * Simplicity: It is easier to map and to maintain. And no information is lost. Also, please bear in mind that a map always is a simplification. * Clarity: for map users And I don't see any disadvantages - why should blind people prefer separate footways over sidewalk=*? Isn't it easier to produce narrative directions with sidewalk=* keys? Besides, sidewalk:*:tactile_paving tags can be added to roads too.
