Yes, a new year is approaching with alarming speed, as every year since we imported the municipal administrative boundaries we will update them on the 1.1. or soon after. I've prepared (again as always) a list to facilitate splitting the work up: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Switzerland/2017_Municipality_Mergers Note: the Canton Graubünden is replacing its 11 "Bezirke" with 11 "Regions", not quite sure how much work that will be, but it is not really high priority. Retina / High DPI

Hallo zusammen! Mein Notebook hat ein High DPI Display (276 dpi), ungefähr entsprechend "Retina" auf Apple-Maschinen. Nur leider wird die hohe Auflösung von openstreetmap.org nicht unterstützt. Dabei ist sie IMHO gerade für Landkarten eine Offenbarung, wie ich finde: https://osm.rrze.fau.de/testhd.html (falls kein Retina, vergleich es bei Browser-Zoom 200%) Im Prinzip wird sie von Leaflet ja auch untersützt: http://leafletjs.com/reference.html (Flag detectRetina) Weiß jemand, ob Retina-Unterstützung auf der .org-Seite bald geplant ist? Oder könnten wir es einfach für http://routing.osm.ch/ mal aktivieren? Klar, es kostet Speicherplatz und Rechenzeit, aber es macht wirklich einen Unterschied, und es würde einen Vorsprung von Google Maps ausgleichen. Grüsse, Johannes

Address on POI inside a building with address

Bonjour à tous, Is there any guideline about POI addresses inside buildings with address defined? Because it will make dupplicates if address is set for each POI, it will be more logical to get spatially the address when exploiting the data. What do you think? Beside that, I noticed that in some case, if the POI type is not rendered by default, the number appears twice [1]. Thanks for you input. Bonjour, Hello, Quel tag mettre sur le bâtiment de la cure catholique ? C'est une maison où loge le curé et où se trouve une sale paroissiale. How to tag the building of the catholic presbytery ? Bonsoir, English version below en zone rurale, il est fréquent d'avoir un building⁼garage physiquement séparé du building=house. Si on ajoute addr:housenumber sur la maison, qa.poole.ch signale à juste titre que le garage n'a pas d'adresse même si celui-ci est marqué avec noaddress=yes. Quel est la meilleur façon de lier le garage à l'adresse de la maison concernée ? In rural area, it is common to have a building⁼garage that is physically separated from the building=house. when tag addr:housenumber on the house, qa.pole.ch correctly points out that the garage has still no address even if it is marked with noaddress=yes. Radroute 54 Nähe Bubendorf

Ich habe in den letzten paar Tagen relativ viel an der Hauptstrasse 12 gemacht (fehlende Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen und mehr). Heute ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Radroute 54 in der Nähe von Bubendorf etwas gar verfallen ist https://cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/#?map=16!47.4465!7.7554 Der Hintergrund dürften wohl die relativ vielen aufgehobene Bahnübergänge sein. Falls jemand da vorbeikommt (ich wohl kaum in nächster Zeit), wäre eine Korrektur nett (entlang der 12 gibt es einen teilweise separat geführten Radweg der ist noch nicht eingetragen). Simon
