Tagging of cycle lanes

While I'm adding stuff to the wiki, it might be a good idea to document the use of highway=xx cycleway=lane for the typical Swiss cycle lanes (dashed yellow line). This is contrary to what the German wiki specifies, but seems to be in widespread use here. Any dissent? Simon

Abbiegebeschränkung Voltastrasse

Hoi zäme! Vielleicht kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben was hier falsch ist. Richtig taggen oder wie ich die Fehlersuche anstellen soll. Auch über RTFM-Verweise wäre ich dankbar. ;-) http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=47.040287&lon=8.30799&zoom=18&layers=M Und zwar darf von der Voltastrasse Richtung Bireggstrasse nicht nach links abgebogen werden. In JOSM sehe ich eine Einschränkung, aber OpenRouteService.org lässt mich hier Links abbiegen. Gruss und danke! Florian

Small wiki changes

After discussion at the Zürcher Stammtisch yesterday, I've made two modifications to the wiki: + changed the instructions for bicycle routes to indicate to use route=mtb for mountain bike routes (and I've tried to fix the relevant relations) ( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/EN:Switzerland/CycleNetwork ) + added sign 2.14 to Switzerland specific tagging, this is common at least in German speaking Switzerland ( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/EN:CH:Map_Features ) Naturally if anybody really disagrees, we can revert and discuss. I've just changed the English and the German entries, leaving the French and non-existant Italian version to somebody else. Simon

Doodle zum nächsten Stammtisch in Zürich

Hallo zusammen, der nächste 11. faellt auf einen Samstag, was unter anderem bedeutet, dass das bQm geschlossen hat. Zudem haben am letzten Treffen einige angetoent, dass der Samstag-Abend eher unpassend wäre. Ich habe darum eine Doodle-Umfrage mit folgenden drei Optionen erstellt: - Verschiebung auf Do oder Fr Abend - Mapping-Party am Sa oder So Nachmittag - Treffen am Sa oder So Abend http://www.doodle.com/d8bfhp2e57xmeev3 (Die Uhrzeiten in der Umfrage sind nur provisorisch.) Fêtons Linux à Genève

Bonjour, J'ai un petit site personnel qui traite de la mobilité dans la région genevoise en utilisant les données d'OpenStreetMap et la librairie javascript Openlayers. Ce site a: - une couche "Mobilité" qui montre entre autre les pistes et les bandes cyclables. - une couche "Transports Publics" qui montre les arrêts de train, tram,bus, bateau d'OpenStreetMap de façon interactive. En cliquant sur un arrêt on peut voir tous les arrêts atteignables par une ligne directe depuis cet arrêt et avoir la liste de toutes les lignes. - une couche "Communes" où on peut voir le nom de toutes les communes de la région genevoise et avoir des informations les concernant. Bonjour, En 2010, j'avais fait une présentation des bases d'OpenStreepMap dans un amphithéâtre lors de Fêtons Linux à l'HEPIA: http://www.fetons-linux.ch/ Cette année, Cédric Briner relance l'organisation d'un Fêtons Linux. Cédric pense entre autres au plan des pistes cyclables, ou à impliquer les communes. Mais comme je ne connais que les bases de la cartographie, je suis vite limité dans le domaine.
