mechanical edit: removing abandoned stops from 2010 DIDOK import

Hello I am planning a mechanical edit to improve the DIDOK data imported over 4 years ago. I propose to delete all public transport stops which 1. were imported by user DidokImportCH 2. were never touched by anyone since then and 3. are not on the current DIDOK list any more 247 stops match this criterion. How do you map minor roads

Hello, Mapping of motorways, trunk, primary and secondary roads is fairly consistent in Switzerland. But mapping of unclassified, residential, track and service roads is less so. So I'll explain how I map (Canton Geneva and nearby France). Comments welcome! highway=residential: road not meant for transit, and deserving houses. That's most roads in villages and low densities suburbs. Residential roads are often access=destination. They can even be privately owned, as long as it is not apparent (it has a name, is deserved by the postman...); otherwise I use highway=service (see below). highway=unclassified: road that is not residential nor tertiary, but usable for transit. Sometimes it is difficult to tell between residential and unclassified. Generally, I use residential on roads where pedestrian may look at you with suspicion of you drive a car. ;) highway=track: like unclassified, but so minor that it is not usable for transit, and should never be used for routing, except to reach endpoints. Generally tracks are used to deserve farmland and forest. Generally snow is not removed from tracks. I almost never use highway=track if it deserves an inhabited house. tracktype=grade1: paved track tracktype=grade2: unpaved track, without grass tracktype=grade3: unpaved track, with grass in the middle tracktype=grade4: unpaved track, with lot of grass tracktype=grade5: unpaved track, 100% grass (very difficult to see on aerial pictures) highway=service: Generally, if a road as a name, I don't tag it as service. Most of the time serice roads are inside a single property, with access=private or access=customers. service=driveway: for the private road to a single building (or a few building); service=parking_aisle: for roads inside, or deserving, a parking lot service=alley: very uncommon (in Switzerland) bare service: quite uncommon, for short visibly private residential roads, emergency access to motorways, major roads in big properties (like factories). I tag privately owned roads with access=destination if it is not apparent that they are private (ie if you need the land registry to know that the road is private). I think that the main differences between my tagging method and other methods used in Switzerland are that: - I don't use highway=service for paved tracks; - I don't use highway=service for minor residential roads. - I use highway=residential a lot. - I never used the access=permissive tag. Hallo zusammen, ich habe in den letzten Wochen des vergangenen Jahres einige Daten vom vom Kanton Basel-Stadt importiert. Hintergrund war, dass ich ein OSM-Import Plugin für ein CAD Software programmiert habe. Da das Büro für das ich tätig bin, seinen Sitz in Basel hat und ausgerechnet Basel jedoch sehr wenig Gebäude in OSM hatte, habe ich dann selbst versucht Abhilfe zu schaffen. Ich habe lediglich einen Wikieintrag gefunden ( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Switzerland:Basel-Stadt) die Import Guideline kannte ich leider nicht. Das tut mir Leid, ich werde das fixen, dazu ein paar Fragen: Soll ich die Imports rückgängig machen und mit separaten Account neu einstellen? Die Hausnummern habe ich anfangs noch separat als point nach "grafischen Empfinden" in das Gebäude verschoben. Später habe ich sie dort gelassen (am Eingang) wo sie waren. Müssen die mit den Umrisspolygon verschmolzen sein (wenn ja, warum?) Mein Ziel war die "weissen" (Gebäude)Flecken in Basel zu tilgen. Ich habe nur Gebäude gelöscht die ich selber gezeichnet habe bzw die deutlich "schlechter" aussahen als die vom Kanton. Attribute habe ich soweit vorhanden auf die neuen Daten übernommen. Wie gesagt ich fühl mich nicht als "einsamer Rächer", ich wollte halt Basel in OSM etwas nach vorne bringen. Basel-Import: Stand

Hallo zusammen, Info zum Stand des Basel-Import: die daten wurden gesichtet POIs werden z.Z. semi-manuell importiert die gebäudeumrisse und adressen wurden von user stibe aufgearbeitet und sind nun bereit für die Übernahme. dieser erfolgt quartierweise semi-manuell. Für diesen Schritt suchen wir noch freiwillige, die helfen, gebäude von einem layer auf den anderen zu kopieren, bzw. attribute zu übernehmen. Ich habe schon mal die Wikiseite vorbereitet https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Switzerland/2015_Municipiality_Mergers Letzes Jahr hab ich alle Änderungen selber gemacht, dass könnte auch diese Jahr drohen, da es auch nicht so viele sind. Ich werde noch versuche herauszufinden ob die Änderungen in Graubünden tatsächlich stattfinden oder verschoben worden sind. Simon

Routing-Fehler auf routing.osm.ch

Hallo allerseits, ich habe hier einen Fehler im Routing auf routing.osm.ch gefunden. Leider finde ich den Fehler in den OSM-Daten nicht. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen: http://routing.osm.ch/?hl=de&loc=46.941612,7.407304&loc=46.942017,7.410640&… Normalerweise müsste hier auf der Weissensteinstrasse ganz normal geradeaus geroutet werden.
