Guten Tag
Tamara Estermann
Hello
In English, because it concerns all of Switzerland:
A short summary of what happened: Netzwerk Schweizer Pärke has imported parks for which they have the polygons, with appropriate attributes. Unfortunately most of the parks boundaries overlap with already available communal boundaries, leading to ways on top of each other.
Now the Netzwerk Schweizer Pärke has asked if someone could help with reverting their import, until they have time to do the import properly, and I have now started to clean up this import, processing the first four parks. What I did is documented here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Datendelphin/NetzwerkSchweizerPaerke... (in German, sorry)
For any objections or remarks please reply in this thread.
Thank you to the Netzwerk Schweizer Pärke for the cooperation.
Regards Michael
Hello
I'm finished with the clean-up. Have a look at http://http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Datendelphin/NetzwerkSchweize... Thanks to FischersFritz for helping.
There were a few instances of other old, outdated imports by individual mappers (please at least write a mail to talk-ch before doing such things, and make sure it gets maintained. None of them matched the current outline any more). I deleted those as well during the cleaning.
The "Parc Naziunal Svizzer" is now tagged as boundary=protected_area with protect_class=1a, which I believe is too recent a tagging scheme to be rendered by standard mapnik style. It's the only park which could be tagged as national_park, which would be rendered. All others are not really national I think.
Have a nice weekend Michael
Hoi Michael
Many thanks for our work! I have looked at Thal [1] and Swiss National Park [2] and the relations are clean now. I think, you deserve a special beer (or green tea) at next OSM Stammtisch [3]! Or perhaps the "Netzwerk Schweizer Paerke" have a better idea about how to reward this :-).
Yours, Stefan
