I apologize in advance regarding the possible lack of pertinence of this query to this mailing list. I did not find a good forum for Mapillary ..
I would like to extract a geojson collection for images from Mapillary, using their API, filtered by either a Mapillary tag of "Fountain" or "Drinking Water". After that, I will feebly try to conflate to a geojson collection of fountains extracted from OpenStreetMap.
The Mapillary API documentation seems to allow image extraction using a bounding box and a filter by user, but I could not see a way to query by tag.

I have no idea about Mapillary api itself but https://pic4review.pavie.info allow to build quest looking for (not only) mapillary pic for a type of osm object.
you may also check "osmose" code, it have a item for missing street object (and also missing speed/height/... limit) using mapillary pic. https://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/fr/errors/?country=switzerland&item=8300... a docker exist to run your own items.

I have left a first question about the API on the mapillary forum : https://forum.mapillary.com/c/imagery-data-integrations .. which doesn't look too active
I will play around a bit to see if I can make some sense of the pic4review image plus osm query result conflated to linkable images. Do you know of a pic4review mission which accomplishes this for another amenity/tag ?
