It seems as if at least some of the long promised new bing imagery is now available.
Places that I've checked are along the Bodensee and Walensee. The Walensee area defintely didn't have anything available earlier.
Any other reports?
Simon
This is fantastic. There is now bing imagery around Rapperswil-Jona.
I'm currently fixing roads.

While trying to fix up the mess of streets, footways, info posts, traffic lights and relations in front of the Sonnenhof in Rapperswil, I probably messed up some relations.
See 47.229079049133894, 8.820900251374214.
Maybe someone who has more experience with relations could take a quick look at it with some integrity checking tools?

Looks ok IMHO. I've just added in some stuff there from the mapping party in 2011. The pedestrian/bicycle routing should be a lot better now.
BTW Rapperswil-Jona needs some love wrt street names: http://qa.poole.ch/ch-roads/SG/3340.html

You must have read my thoughts:

Der Social Event vom 12. Juni findet voraussichtlich auf dem Bauernhof Bächlihof in Jona (SG) statt (vgl. [2]): Da sieht es zurzeit ziemlich leer aus!! Es wäre schön, wenn jemand da mithelfen könnte, Gebäude, Fusswege des Bauernhauses etc. einzutragen, damit sich die über 300 erwarteten Teilnehmer/innen nicht verlaufen... :->

Hi Simon
See also at Talk-de the thread "Bing! Bing! Bing! Neue Luftbilder!" where someone seems to know in which "blocks" the imagery was taken.
That's fantastic news especially also for Rapperswil - since this will be the place where mappers meet next year at the FOSSGIS conference (*)!
Yours, Stefan

Baselland as well. Not looked how extensive yet, but around Sissach, Liestal, etc it looks good.

New imagery in Engadina and other parts of Graubünden and a couple of other places it seems.
See for example: http://ant.dev.openstreetmap.org/bingimageanalyzer/?lat=46.68786841868211&am...
