I noticed that in the area northeast of Vevey a (or multiple) seemingly unclean data import was conducted about a year ago by user "mousse".

One issue was that addr:street=... entries were carrying not only the street name but the house number as well. I corrected those manually and they should be fine now.

Another issue is that in the same region entries exist that do use all-caps tags not used in OSM elsewhere, like DESCRIP=...

You can find those using the Overpass query saved in http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/3xh

These tags may contain useful data but I'm unsure if and how we should use them.

What do you propose?
