Hi Simon,
PS: off topic: here (just outside of Zürich) our kids are supposed to walk on their own (without adult supervision) starting with Kindergarten.
I'd like too that kids should be more independant, but I feel being the only one to think like people from Zurich.
Just te be sure, how old is kid that goes to Kindergarten ???
