Hi Everyone,
My name is Blake Girardot and I am one of the co-organizers of Missing Maps Mapathons in the Zurich area.
We have a MeetUp.com group for people who want to do humanitarian mapping in OpenStreetMap that you can find on MeetUp if you want, I think I linked to it previously when I invited you all to attend :)
I just wanted to mention, that I passed this notice of your next meeting along to the 32 members of that meet up group and encouraged them to attend, the exact message is below. I hope I described the group accurately and I hope this was ok.
So maybe with some luck, you will find some new faces at your next get together :)

Hi everyone!
On the heels of our first very fun and successful Missing Maps Mapathon, I wanted to pass along this notice of another mapping related meeting.
The Missing Maps Project is first and foremost about humanitarian mapping in lesser developed areas for humanitarian field work, but Missing Maps is just one part of the larger OpenStreetMap project that is about mapping the entire globe, where we live too.
The larger OpenStreetMap project has a local Zurich group that discusses mapping in and around Switzerland and Zurich and the surrounding areas. Members sometimes map in a humanitarian context, but more often are outside mapping their own local areas, adding building names, addresses, hiking trails, bike routes, nature areas, bus stops, speed limits, etc. Everything you would want to have on a map that is important to you.
Their members are a mix of new and very very experienced hobby mappers, cartographers and GIS professionals and they are a great group of people if mapping other things besides villages for humanitarian work is of interest to you. And even if all you are interested in is humanitarian mapping, the local Swiss OSM group is a very good place to learn about the more technical aspects of OpenStreetMap and OSM mapping.
So, if you are interested in meeting another group of people in the Zurich area who love mapping, open geo-data and open geo tools, this is a really good group to get to know:
