While working on some of the more rural municipalities in the canton Berne for the address import https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Canton_of_Bern_Address_Import I've noticed that a couple of them have been heavily googefied, aka place names have been added to the streets instead of adding a place node/area and using addr:place instead of addr:street in any addresses associated with the location. This is simply, wrong, because, well, the streets have no names :-) (in some cases they do actually have their own independent names which due to the mis-tagging has been overwritten).
To help with doing this correctly I've added per municipalities "all" links on http://qa.poole.ch/ch-roads/ that will display the full list of entities from the GWR street list for the resp. municipality. As always with "official" data it needs to be taken with a couple of grains of salt and with brains turned on, but in general entities that are declared as "road", "area" and "points" will actually be that, with "none" very often used when the people entering the data being out of their depth, so most of the times this indicates that the entity is not a road.
I'm not proposing an organised clean up effort, but if you are working on such an area please fix the issues en passant.
