Hi everyone,
the Call for Participation [1] at the State of the Map (SotM) conference 2022 has been announced on the OSMF blog [2] and is now open. The SotM is the annual, international OpenStreetMap conference and is planned to take place as our first hybrid conference with in-person attendance in Firenze, Italy, and online attendance, from August 19 - 21, 2022.
We would be pleased about your submissions for the following, non-academic tracks until April 25, 2022, 23:59:59 UTC: • OSM Basics: Introductions and information for beginners • Community and Foundation: Bringing people together, experiences from working groups, strategies and visions • Mapping: All about surveying, data collection, tagging, editor usage, organised editing, imports, etc. • Cartography: Ideas on how to create good-looking manifestations of OSM data • Software Development: Software for processing and editing OSM data • Data Analysis and Data Model: Reflections about the OSM data, its model and analysis of quality • User Experiences: Tell your surprising story of using OSM as an end-user or present your creative and artistic projects with OSM There will also be an academic track which will be announced separately.
We have four types of sessions that we accept submissions for: • Talk (in-person or prerecorded), 20 minutes + live Q&A • Extended talk (in-person or prerecorded), 40 minutes + live Q&A • Workshop (in-person or via live video conference), 60-90 minutes • Panel discussion (in-person or via live video conference), 60-90 minutes There will also be opportunities for lightning talks and BoF sessions. Since SotM is planned to be a hybrid conference, please take a close look at the "Submission Types" section in the call which contains more details than the above summary.

Hallo zusammen,
der Aufruf fuer die Teilnahme [1] an der State of the Map (SotM) Konferenz 2022 wurde auf dem OSMF-Blog angekuendigt [2] und ist nun eroeffnet. Die SotM ist die jaehrliche, internationale OpenStreetMap-Konferenz und ist dieses Jahr als unsere erste hybride Konferenz geplant, mit vor-Ort-Teilnahme in Florenz, Italien, und virtueller Teilnahme, vom 19. bis 21. August 2022.
Wir wuerden uns ueber eure Einreichungen zu den folgenden, nicht-akademischen Tracks bis zum 25. April 2022, 23:59:59 UTC freuen: • OSM-Grundlagen: Einfuehrungen und Informationen fuer Anfaenger:innen • Community und Foundation: Menschen zusammenbringen, Erfahrungen aus Arbeitsgruppen, Strategien und Visionen • Mapping: Alles zur Datenerfassung, Tagging, Editorbenuetzung, organisierte Bearbeitung, Imports, etc. • Kartograpie: Ideen, wie man gutaussehende Darstellungen der OSM-Daten erzeugen kann • Softwareentwicklung: Software fuer die Verarbeitung und Bearbeitung der OSM-Daten • Datenanalyse und Datenmodell: Gedanken zu den OSM-Daten, dem Datenmodell und der Analyse von Qualitaet und Vollstaendigkeit • Benutzer:innenerfahrungen: Erzaehl deine ueberraschende Geschichte der Benuetzung von OSM als End-User oder zeige deine kreativen und kuenstlerischen Projekte mit OSM Zudem gibt es auch einen akademischen Track, der separat angekuendigt wird.
Es gibt vier Vortragstypen, fuer die wir Einreichungen akzeptieren: • Vortrag (vor Ort oder voraufgezeichnet), 20 Minuten + live Fragen und Antworten • Erweiterter Vortrag (vor Ort oder voraufgezeichnet), 40 Minuten + live Fragen und Antworten • Workshop (live vor Ort oder via Videokonferenz), 60–90 Minuten • Panel-Diskussion (live vor Ort oder via Videokonferenz), 60-90 Minuten Ausserdem wird es auch Moeglichkeiten fuer spontane Kurzvortraege und BoF-Sessions geben. Da die SotM als hybride Konferenz geplant ist, sei darum gebeten, sich den Absatz "Submission Types" im Aufruf zur Teilnahme genau anzuschauen, er enthaelt detailliertere Informationen als obige Zusammenfassung.
