The database is updated every night. Depending on the amount of changes made, the update finishes between 7 and 9. Tonight it run a bit late but by now the stations should be visible. If you cannot see them, please, post a link to the station in question.
- Once the new stations are recognized, will they be automatically
matched? Was the matching algorithm run once and that was it, or is it run regularly?
The match is done every night as well. So, whenever data is added in OSM it should be appropriately matched by the next day. (The exception is a type change of an operator, i.e. when you change an X on the map to the approriate stop type, all other stops of the same operator will be fixed, too, but only after two match cycles, thus two days.)
Hi Sarah
Thanks for the information. I looked at a few stations and they are now clickable. However the automatic association does not seem to of worked. e.g. Take a look at Melchsee Frutt:
http://osm.lonvia.de/didok.html?zoom=15&lat=46.77291&lon=8.28345&...
Will it maybe take another day?
- How easy would it be to build a subset map which shows DIDOK points
which are currently unlinked, but near to cable car endpoint? Middle stations would also be nice, but i guess that is harder?
This could be only done as a read-only map. I did not do those yet because it would make an already complicated user interface even more complicated.
That would be useful. Or maybe someway to set filters on the summary numbers you get at low zoom levels. Just being able to filter out the bus stops would help. I get the feeling that what is not a bus stop needs closer inspection since it is more likely to be in OSM already so should be linked to an existing node.
