Hi Garp
I think the Swiss fed. agency for national roads... (ASTRA) is responsible for naming motorways. Then, there is TMC code list (used for traffic info from http://www.viasuisse.ch/produkte/classics/ ). Unfortunately the ASTRA holds back this data and does not decide about a licence. At least in this list, there are no road names (only numbers) until 2nd class road and road with lower classification.
Yours, S.

What about "Westring" and "Nording" around Zurich? I believe I've heard them being called that in traffic information radio broadcasts (probably in conjunction with the number) and I think I've seen at least "Nordring" on motorway lane direction signs.
