If I understand you correctly, you can use Overpass turbo for this and search for "amenity=fountain and wikidata=*" as a starter. For example in Bern https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/ydrgbjo has been taking care of adding images/wikidata to *lots* of fountains: https://osm.li/NDE
