When I launched the PotM CH about farm shops I wasn't aware of the produce vs. product issue. There's a discussion also on talk-ch. I'm in favor of product as a secondary tag to shop=farm. The example shown by Peter uses `produce=...`. But reading https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:produce#Produce_or_product,_disambig... tells me that product might be more appropriate for farm shops as mostly the stuff is not sold as such. Instead it usually has some processing involved. Typical products like meat, cheese, bread, jam, etc all involve some manufacturing process.

Bonjour,
un point de vente ne produit généralement rien et c'est donc une erreur de mettre procude=* la seul exeption est une machine qui produit et vend du pain ou des pizzas. procude=* est plutot pour le champs ou l'usine de transformation. éventuelement sur le landusse=faryard si on ignore le lieu de production précis

The last two years there has been a real farm store boom. Because shopping nearby is sustainable. The Swiss Farmers' Union estimates that approximately 770 million of the total revenue of Swiss agriculture is generated in farm stores and at weekly markets. Map farm stores! This is easy: for farm stores use shop=farm and for self-service machines (vending machines) use amenity=vending_machine with the addition Key:vending e.g. vending=milk for milk machines and vending=food for food. Ces deux dernières années, on a assisté à un véritable boom des magasins à la ferme. Car faire ses courses près de chez soi est durable. L'Union suisse des paysans estime qu'environ 770 millions du revenu total de l'agriculture suisse sont générés dans les magasins à la ferme et sur les marchés hebdomadaires. Cartographiez les magasins à la ferme ! C'est simple : pour les magasins à la ferme, utiliser shop=farm et pour les automates en libre-service (distributeurs automatiques), utiliser amenity=vending_machine avec l'ajout Key:vending, par exemple vending=milk pour les distributeurs automatiques de lait et vending=food pour la nourriture. Der Schweizerische Bauernverband schätzt, dass circa 770 Mio. des Gesamtertrags der Schweizer Landwirtschaft in Hofläden und an Wochenmärkten erwirtschaftet werden. Mappt Hofläden! Das ist einfach: für Hofläden shop=farm verwenden und für Selbstbedienungs-Automaten (Verkaufsautomaten) amenity=vending_machine mit dem Zusatz Key:vending z.B. vending=milk für Milchautomaten und vending=food für Essen.
