Hello,
I have noticed that the links to images in wikimedia commons for fountain nodes ( but I assume it is the same for other nodes, ways and relations) are sometimes saved as the page url, sometimes as the file url and sometimes as a thumbnail image url.
Would it make sense for someone to run a bot and convert all wikimedia commons image links to the root image link? Especially the thumbnail image links .. maybe it's not such a big deal.
For example,
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/6465995645%C2%A0 has image link https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Drinking_fountain_in_Palmerston_Nort...
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/6431460585%C2%A0 has image link https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5c/Israel_Hiking_Map_%D7%91...
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/286879718%C2%A0%C2%A0 has image link https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/86/House_%26_square_o...
Which one is the "root image" link?

Stuart
