Connecting hw=platform/public_transport=platform

Hi, Does it make sense to connect hw=platform/public_transport=platform to the road network? I started some footway mapping in Lucerne a couple of weeks ago and encountered dozens of platforms which are not connected. I also found some CS which connected the rail platforms to the network. How do we map bus platforms in Switzerland? On the kerb? On the sidewalk? In the middle of the highways? Elsewhere? Cheers, Marcel Von meinem iPhone gesendet

Charging for e-cars with trailer

We don't seem to have any modelling for charging stations that are (easy) to use with a trailer attached. So either a pull through charging location, or long parking lot with the charger likely halfway along one side. Does anybody have suggestions? Simon

englische Bevorzugung trotz name Lokalisierung

Hallo zusammen Ich habe eine kurze Frage ob name:en gegenüber name bevorzugt wird. Beispiel Paradeplatz: https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/905841 Hier wird in den Nodeausgaben, in Overpass usw. immer der Tag des name:en bevorzugt gegenüber dem name Tag. Weiss jemand wieso und wie man das übersteuern kann? Wenn ich in Nominatim "Paradeplatz" suche, erscheint als Suchergebnis auch "Parade Square". Danke für eure Aufklärungen. Tach Mappers. Wie seht ihr das? Ich hatte mir damals hier die Mühe gemacht, die einzelnen Charger an ihren Positionen zu mappen. Jetzt hat jemand alles rückgängig gemacht und daraus einen virtuellen Charger mit 12 Anschlüssen gemacht. Es gibt schon ein zuviel bei Micromapping, aber der Ansicht bin ich bei eAuto Chargern als Einzelsäulen nicht. Neue Versionen der Emergency Map und der Healthcare Map

Mi, ich habe gerade neue Versionen der Emergency Map <https://wambachers-osm.website/Emergency.html> und Healthcare Map <https://wambachers-osm.website/Healthcare.html> freigeschaltet. Beide Karten decken den Raum D-A-CH ab und somit auch für euch interessant. Wesentliche Änderungen der Layouts erfolgten nicht, allerdings ist die Datenbank total überarbeitet worden. Dies war notwendig geworden, da mir vor einigen Wochen die DB “geplatzt” war. Daraufhin hab ich den Update der DB auf osm2pgsql mit dem Flex-Format umgestellt, was einen erheblichen Performancegewinn des Updates bewirkt hat. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Swiss Topo Surface 3D not working anymore on JOSM

Dear all, The mentioned layer doesn't work anymore on JOSM on my side. This layer is quite useful to map roads in covered areas. Does anyone else also have the issue or have an idea about how to fix this?
