Hoi zämä In der Schweiz sind gefühlt noch nicht alle Käsereien gemappt, aktuell um die 1000. Das Ziel wären vermutlich um die 1800 Käsereien. Somit etwas mehr als 50%. Liebe "Mapusiasten" :-) Für Kurzentschlossene: Übermorgen Freitagnachmittag, 27. September 2024 findet ab 14.15 Uhr der 16. Mapathon mit Mapping Party auf dem Campus Rapperswil der FH OST statt. Es ist eine Mapping Party (outdoor), weil einige - die sogenannten "Craftmapper" - nach draussen gehen, um die Umgebung zu erfassen, wie z.B. Gebäudeinformationen oder Öffnungszeiten. Dann ist es auch ein Mapathon (indoor) für die "Couchmapper", die z.B. vom Laptop aus gezielt Objekte erfassen ("Targeted Editing"). Auch Einsteiger/innen und Softwareentwickler/innen sind herzlich willkommen! Und es können Fragen gestellt werden ("Ask-us-Anything"). Die Sprachen sind Deutsch und Englisch. Wir treffen uns um 14:15 im Raum 1.257 und sind ab 17:00 im Seegebäude 6. Man kann auch später kommen (oder früher gehen), später kommen (oder früher gehen). Wer hat recht: Swissimage oder Lidar (SwissAlti3D)?

Manchmal decken sich die zwei nicht (meistens schon). Wer hat dann Vorrang? Geraten würd ich sagen LIDAR, da ich dort eher erwarte, dass der Laser halt total senkrecht runterging, während Swissimage wohl entzerrt wird.

PotM CH 2024: Ausfall - aber das neue cf_audit GUI ist bereit!

(English below) Liebe Mapperinnen und Mapper Die Webseiten des "Projekt des Monats Schweiz" (PotM CH) sind zur Zeit offline. Geplant waren Bänke und Spielplätze in Winterthur. Wir holen das später nach. Nach einem Systemupdate haben wir Probleme, Superset wieder bereitzustellen. Aber wir arbeiten an einer neuen Instanz, die so schnell wie möglich online gehen wird. Das könnte Ende März 2024 sein. Ob es für den "Mapathon & Mapping Party Rapperswil" am 22. März reicht, ist nicht sicher (übrigens: schon angemeldet?). Wie auf der PotM-Wiki-Seite [1] erwähnt, wird das PotM-Dashboard eine weitere, neue Datenquelle anzeigen können: Nicht die Änderungen in der OSM-Datenbank werden erfasst, sondern die Änderungen im Tool "cf_audit GUI". Dieses "Conflation Tool" nimmt Daten aus externen Quellen - hier der Stadt Winterthur - und gleicht sie mit OSM ab. Update des 13-jährigen Imports der swissBOUNDARIES3D-Grenzen

Seit längerem schwirrt mir nach einem Hinweis von Simon Poole die Idee durch den Kopf, die Gemeindegrenzen der Schweiz in OpenStreetMap nach einem alten Import von vor 13 Jahren auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Ein Tool [1] von Branko Kokanovic [2] pflegt die Gemeindegrenzen (?) von Serbien automatisiert und macht dazu täglich einen Qualitätsbericht, um allfälligerweise korrigierend eingreifen zu können. Ich bin seit einiger Zeit in lockerem Mailkontakt mit Branko, der sein Tool auch flink so angepasst hat, dass es direkt für die Schweizer Gemeindegrenzen verwendbar ist [4]. Mit seinem Tool ist es möglich, aus den Daten, die swisstopo zur Verfügung stellt [3], eine Datei zu erstellen, die mit JOSM direkt in OpenStreetMap eingepflegt werden könnte. Das wäre aus meiner Sicht schon ein erster Schritt zu einem Update der Gemeindegrenzen in der Schweiz, ein zweiter Schritt wäre die automatische Überwachung der Qualität der Grenzen in OpenStreetMap, ein dritter Schritt wäre dann die automatisierte Zusammeführung der Daten von swisstopo mit den bestehenden Daten in OpenStreetMap. Damit das möglich ist, braucht es aber sicher eine Diskussion des Vorgehens unter mehr Beteiligten. Ich habe mal unter https://c.osm.org/t/118604 einen Diskussionsfaden eröffnet, helft ihr dort mit zu diskutieren? Guetnacht, Habi — Salutatous! Depuis longtemps, suite à une remarque de Simon Poole, l'idée me trotte dans la tête de mettre à jour les frontières communales de la Suisse dans OpenStreetMap à partir d'une ancienne importation datant d'il y a 13 ans. Un outil [1] de Branko Kokanovic [2] met à jour les frontières communales (?) de Serbie de manière automatisée et établit chaque jour un rapport de qualité afin de pouvoir éventuellement apporter des corrections. Je suis depuis quelque temps en contact informel avec Branko, qui a rapidement adapté son outil de manière à ce qu'il soit directement utilisable pour les frontières communales suisses [4]. Avec son outil, il est possible de créer un fichier à partir des données mises à disposition par swisstopo [3], qui pourrait être directement intégré dans OpenStreetMap avec JOSM. De mon point de vue, ce serait déjà un premier pas vers une mise à jour des frontières communales en Suisse, un deuxième pas serait la surveillance automatique de la qualité des frontières dans OpenStreetMap, un troisième pas serait alors la fusion automatisée des données de swisstopo avec les données existantes dans OpenStreetMap. Mais pour que cela soit possible, il faut certainement une discussion sur la procédure entre plusieurs personnes concernées. In seguito a un suggerimento di Simon Poole, da qualche tempo mi frulla in testa l'idea di aggiornare i confini comunali della Svizzera in OpenStreetMap sulla base di una vecchia importazione di 13 anni fa. Uno strumento [1] di Branko Kokanovic [2] mantiene automaticamente i confini comunali (?) della Serbia e produce un rapporto giornaliero sulla qualità in modo da poter intraprendere azioni correttive, se necessario. Da qualche tempo sono in contatto casuale via e-mail con Branko, che ha anche adattato rapidamente il suo strumento in modo da poterlo utilizzare direttamente per i confini comunali svizzeri [4]. Con il suo strumento, è possibile creare un file dai dati forniti da swisstopo [3], che potrebbe essere inserito direttamente in OpenStreetMap utilizzando JOSM. A mio avviso, questo sarebbe un primo passo verso l'aggiornamento dei confini comunali in Svizzera, un secondo passo sarebbe quello di monitorare automaticamente la qualità dei confini in OpenStreetMap, e un terzo passo sarebbe quello di unire automaticamente i dati di swisstopo con i dati esistenti in OpenStreetMap. Hallo zusammen Ist es möglich, eine Notiz für sich selbst in der Map zu hinterlassen, Zum Beispiel wenn man beim Sesselmappen etwas nicht so genau erkannt, und das vo Ort noch mals prüfen möchte. Ich möchte dann gerne, wenn ich raus gehe, gleich verschiedene Sachen auf einmal prüfen können. Deswegen wäre es Cool, eine Notiz hinterlassen zu können. Gruss Raphael
