Baselland bus/tram mixup

Hi Folks It seems there has been a mix up in Baselland with buses and trams. e.g. http://osm.lonvia.de/didok.html?zoom=17&lat=47.493&lon=7.58992&layers=BT The BLT Auto point has been connected to the OSM tram stop, and the BLT point has been left disconnected. same as: http://osm.lonvia.de/didok.html?zoom=17&lat=47.50137&lon=7.61946&layers=BT etc. Is it possible to globally change BLT auto to type bus and re-run the matching algorithm? DIDOK points outside of CH

Hi Folks I was looking through the DIDOK data without coordinates and noticed: 8505502 Baveno NLM -- NLM 8505503 Belgirate NLM -- NLM 8505511 Laveno NLM -- NLM 8505513 Meina NLM -- NLM 8505515 Pallanza NLM -- NLM 8505516 Porto Valtrav NLM -- NLM These are all ferry stations on Lago Maggiore across the border in Italy. Should we delete these points? Andrew

Hi Sarah Thanks for the information. I looked at a few stations and they are now clickable. Or maybe someway to set filters on the summary numbers you get at low zoom levels. Just being able to filter out the bus stops would help. I get the feeling that what is not a bus stop needs closer inspection since it is more likely to be in OSM already so should be linked to an existing node. Andrew

didok and cable cards

Hi Folks I spent some time yesterday evening focusing on the DIDOK information and cable car. I noticed in many causes the automatic match failed because the cable cars in OSM don't have top/bottom stations, which is what the matching algorithm appears to be looking for. I added a number of stations, but now i have some questions: 1) This morning the stations are now rendered on the tiles. However by 8:00 this morning they are not clickable, so i cannot associate a DIDOK point to them. How often is the list of clickable OSM points rebuilt? When does it happen? 2) Once the new stations are recognized, will they be automatically matched? Was the matching algorithm run once and that was it, or is it run regularly? 3) Is there any way to automagically add stations to cable cars where there are not already station? Or can i get JOSM to find such cases and show them to me? 4) How easy would it be to build a subset map which shows DIDOK points which are currently unlinked, but near to cable car endpoint? Middle stations would also be nice, but i guess that is harder? Thanks Andrew

Hallo zusammen, Auf dem Toolserver werkelt inzwischen Tirex, daher sollten veraltete Kacheln der Vergangenheit angehören. 11. Zürcher OSM-Stammtisch am 11.10.10 mit OCAD

Der 11. Zürcher OSM-Stammtisch vom kommenden 11. Oktober 2010... ... steht voraussichtlich unter dem Thema "Schöne Karten erzeugen mit OSM". Ich fragte Leute von OCAD AG (Baar) an, ob sie zeigen könnten, wie man das aus ihrer Sicht machen könnte. OCAD ist Marktführer(!) für die Herstellung von Orientierungslauf-Karten Auch auch die französischen 25'000er-Landeskarten werden damit hergestellt. * Datum: Montag, 11. FrOSCamp 17./18. September 2010 an der ETH

Hallo zusammen, Wie ich an der OpenExpo erfahren habe, wird es im Herbst keine Ausgabe in Zürich geben (bzw. in abgeänderter Form eines 'Open Source Forums' im Kongresshaus). Hingegen wird es an der ETH eine ähnliche Veranstaltung geben, das FrOSCamp: | Beim FrOSCamp handelt es sich um ein internationales zweitägiges Event, | das im September in den Räumlichkeiten der ETH Zürich stattfindet. Der | Eintritt ist frei. Eine Vorregistrierung für Besucher wird nicht | vorausgesetzt. Das Event besteht aus einer Ausstellung, Vorträgen, | Workshops und Hackfests rund um Open Source und Free Software sowie | Freien Inhalten im Allgemeinen. | | Personen und Projekte sind herzlich eingeladen ihre Arbeit zu | demonstrieren und den Besuchern die Bedeutung von "FrOS" klar zu | machen. Dabei kommt der Event ohne kommerzielle Aussteller (ausser bei | Snacks und Getränke) aus.
