Given that the mapper in question is still active I would suggest adding a changeset comment asking if these edits were simply a mistake or not. Further it would be best if the mapper in question fixed the issues themself.

Reverting IHMO doesn't really make a lot of sense since all of the objects need to be looked at and then you/they/whoever can simply add the missing addr:street back.
