Dear all,
I am using this channel to broadcast this information to all interested mappers. We have bought and put online a high-resolution imagery of the town of Khorog,in Tajikistan. Khorog (30000 inhabitants) is located at the Afghan border, 2000m a.s.l. and is highly exposed to natural disasters (earthquakes, avalanches, landslides...). The goal of our project is to build upon OSM to provide the first detailed spatial database ever. Those data will then be used (amongst others) for disaster risk reduction.
