gute Nachricht! Vor etwa zwei Jahren war ich oft mit dem Fahrrad im Kanton Fribourg unterwegs und habe viel rund um Bulle, Romont und den Lac de Gruyère gemappt. Wenn ich mir das heute über den Orthofotos anschaue, gibts da doch noch einiges zu korrigieren :-)

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that the state of Fribourg was nice
enough to let us use freely their orthophoto from the canton. They
even set up a WMS server for us, at the following location:

http://geo.fr.ch/wms/orthophoto_2005_fribourg.php?

Further details are on the french Wiki page for Fribourg
(http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:Switzerland:Fribourg). My
german being what it is, I'll leave the translation to somebody
else...

Please make sure that you tag the elements you add based on this
orthophoto with the appropriate "source" tag, as explained on the
Wiki.

I've already started fixing and adding things in the city of Fribourg,
but a *lot* of work remains. I hope many people will use the photo to
improve the map of the Fribourg canton.
