In french, normally, we don't use the accent on the capital letters.

Are you serious? I always thought that was the inability of some people
to properly use a Swiss German keyboard (to write a capital Ä, Ö or Ü
you need to use the caps lock key, shift produces à, é and è).

Any sources for this rule? :)
