Das Internet wird immer wichtiger. Aber in der Vergangenheit, vor einigen Jahren, bin ich auf Unstimmigkeiten zwischen den Öffnungszeiten auf einer Website und an der Eingangstür des Ladens gestoßen. Die Daten an der Tür sind meiner Meinung nach präziser, da sie den Kunden sofort auffallen, wenn sie an der Tür warten. Und sie werden den Ladenbesitzer über einen Fehler informieren.

Am liebsten mache ich mit der Kamera des Smartphones ein Foto der Öffnungszeiten an der Tür und aktualisiere es später im System. Es wäre sehr interessant, ein Programm zu haben, das das Foto mit den Öffnungszeiten in den OSM-Text umwandelt.

Ich schätze allerdings, dass es sehr schwer umzusetzen wäre. Oder existiert das vielleicht schon?

The Internet is becoming more and more important. But in the past, a few years ago, I encountered discrepancies between the opening hours on a website and on the store's front door. In my opinion, the data at the door is more accurate because it is immediately noticeable to customers when they are waiting at the door. And they will inform the store owner about an error.

I prefer to take a photo of the opening times at the door with my smartphone camera and update it later in the system. It would be very interesting to have a program that converts the photo with the opening times into the OSM text.

However, I guess that it would be very difficult to implement. Or maybe it exists already?

Im Monat September 2023 geht es darum, Öffnungszeiten in OSM zu
erfassen und aktuell zu halten. Berücksichtigt werden alle Änderungen
an den Tags "opening_hours:*=*", also auch z.B.
opening_hours:kitchen=*.

Tipp: Mit der Webapp "Web to OSM Opening Hours" kann man einfach den
Text der Öffnungszeiten von einer Webseite in die App kopieren
(paste); sie wandelt den Text direkt in die opening_hours-Syntax um:
[https://osm-de.github.io/WebToOSMOH/ .

In diesem Zusammenhang ist auch der Tag bzw. Key "website" sehr
nützlich. Öffnungszeiten und Abweichungen davon sind oft auf Webseiten
zu finden.

Wichtig: Beim Eintragen oder Aktualisieren der Öffnungszeiten sollten
auch die Werte der beiden Tags `check_date` und
`check_date:opening_hours` aktualisiert werden (diese beiden Tags
zählen nicht für die Auswertung).

Und nicht vergessen, den Hashtag #potmch zu setzen!

Dear mappers

In the month of September 2023, the goal is to capture opening hours
in OSM and keep them up to date. All changes to the tags
"opening_hours:*=*" are taken into account, so also e.g.
opening_hours:kitchen=*.

Tip: With the webapp "Web to OSM Opening Hours" you can simply copy
(paste) the text of the opening hours from a webpage into the app; it
converts the text directly into the opening_hours syntax:
[https://osm-de.github.io/WebToOSMOH/ .

In this context, the tag or key "website" is also very useful. Opening
hours and variations of them can often be found on websites.

Important: When entering or updating the opening hours, the values of
the two tags `check_date` and `check_date:opening_hours` should also
be updated (these two tags do not count for the evaluation).

And don`t forget to set the hashtag #potmch!
