I had a similar thought when I was looking at some Overture data that was labeled as a surfing spot.
Snorkeling, and diving, is similar in that some places are just particularly known, because of conditions, as better. Fishing spots can be the same, or also based on legal access.
But I think tourism attraction could work: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/tourism-attraction/66134
But for some vague ones I investigated for surfing, I marked as a sport center when making a dictionary from overture: https://github.com/cbeddow/overture2osm/blob/main/overture2osm.json#L4700
I think it might make sense to invent a new tag combination for leisure or tourism for anything where it is a location considered notable for practice of a certain leisure activity, but without some official facility or demarcation.

Das OSM-Wiki gibt fast nur https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Tag:sport%3Dscuba_diving#Snorkeling%3F her.Ich finde das wenig ergiebig, genauso wie https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=snorkeling#keys, was zeigt, dass Schnorchelspots relativ wenig erfasst sind.Als (ehemaliger) Taucher finde ich, dass Schnorcheln ja eigentlich überall (wo Wasser ist) möglich ist, möchtest du besonders tolle Schnorchel-Spots erfassen?
