Would the Welcome Tool <https://welcome.osm.be/> (wiki page here
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Welcome_tool>) be helpful in welcoming
and orienting new members?
Simon, I thought I remembered you saying it was quite a bit of work sending
the emails out the current way.
